In May, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles celebrated a huge milestone. They announced that they’ve produced over 5 million Pentastar V6 engines since introducing it in 2011.

The popular Pentastar V6 engine is available in 3.0, 3.2 and 3.6-liters. These three different sizes power 14 different vehicles from Ram, Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler. According to Left Lane News, the most common is the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, and it powers vehicles such as the Chrysler 200 and Ram 1500.

Left Lane News also states that the 3.3-liter engine is found in vehicles such as the Jeep Cherokee in the United States. The 3.0-liter Pentastar V6 engine powers Jeep Wranglers and Grand Cherokees in the China market.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger has arrived at Larry H. Miller Dodge RAM Avondale!

 The 2015 Dodge Challenger is modeled after the 1970's edition in the sense that it kept its clean, modern muscle lines. The vehicle front and rear have both been redesigned including a bigger power bulge for the hood, an LED Halo, quad headlights, and a new Shaker hood option. The Split-Grille was inspired by the 1971 version. The interior design is a combination of retro and contemporary technology including leather seats which have a heating or cooling option. The Dodge Challenger has a revised engine that gets more power and has an added 8-Speed Automatic Transmission.  The cold months are over and now it's time to plan for summer! Since most don't clean their vehicle out during the winter months, your car could probably use some cleaning before heading into the warmer weather. Below are some tips to help prepare your car for the summer months:

1. Remove everything from the inside that doesn’t belong or is creating clutter. Once you are done removing clutter, be sure to vacuum and dust the interior. Remove things such as:

• Empty water bottles
• Extra coats
• Camping supplies
• Old papers, notes, receipts, wrappers, etc

2. Wipe the interior down:

• Wipe down everything that isn't glass or fabric inside the car
• Use a dashboard cleaner to wipe the dashboard
• The cleaner can linger for a few weeks so make sure it's a smell that you enjoy

3. Periodic maintenance to prevent mechanical breakdown:

• Air Conditioning - Have this examined by one of our knowledgeable technicians
• Oil - Make sure you are changing your oil and oil filter every 3,000 miles
• Windshield wipers - A dirty windshield can be a safety hazard. Be sure that your windshield wipers are working properly and make sure there is plenty of windshield wiper fluid
• Tires - Make sure your tires are rotated every 5,000 miles and be sure to check your tire pressure once a month
